Algorand Foundation

Congratulations on taking the leap and submitting your project to Build-A-Bull, the Algorand global virtual hackathon! This is a significant milestone in your journey as a developer and entrepreneur. But what comes next? Let's walk through the exciting timeline that awaits you post-submission.

✅ Nov 15: Submission deadline—the first finish line!

You've done it! You've crossed the first finish line by submitting your project. Take a moment to appreciate the hard work and late nights that got you here. But keep your energy up; the journey has just begun!

📋 Nov 16–19: First round of judging—the tension builds!

During these days, your project, along with many others, will be under the microscope of our expert judges. They're delving into the details, assessing the innovation, practicality, and potential impact of each submission. Only five teams per track will emerge victorious and advance to the next round. It's a nail-biter, but stay hopeful!

If you are selected, we’ll be in touch via email on Nov 19 to let you know.

🌟 Nov 20 or 21: Final judging session—your time to shine!

If your team is among the lucky finalists, this is your moment in the spotlight. You'll have five minutes to pitch your project and convince the judges why you deserve to be in the top three.

🏆 Nov 29: Announcement of the winners—the big reveal!

This is the day all participants eagerly await. The winners will be announced on the Algorand Foundation's marketing channels. Follow us on X (formerly Twitter) and make sure you’re part of our Discord.

Winning this hackathon could be a game-changer, catapulting your project into the limelight. Regardless of the outcome, remember that participating in this hackathon is an achievement in itself.

🎉 Dec 13: Build-A-Bull Grand Finale Demo Day—the community's choice!

This is not just any finale; it's where the community gets to have their say. The winning teams, along with a potential wildcard entry, will present their projects. The unique twist? The community votes for their favorite by connecting their wallets on the Algorand Foundation website. It's a day where your project could win not just by expert opinion but by popular vote too.

Voting will open on Dec 13 at 01:00 AM PST and close on Dec 15 at 11:59 PM PST

As you navigate through these exciting phases, remember that each step of this journey is a learning experience and a chance to showcase your talents. Good luck, and may the best team win! 🌟🏆
