The Algorand Foundation's mission is to enable an inclusive, decentralized, and borderless global economy - at scale - based on the Algorand blockchain technology.

Adriana has a background in web development and digital marketing and is currently the Head of Communities in Australia for the Algorand Foundation, working with projects building web 3 applications using Algorand, the greenest and most efficient blockchain, supporting grassroots community initiatives and developing educational programs for industry and government.

Adriana is a non-executive board member of Blockchain Australia and recipient of their Blockies 2021 Community Leader of the Year award. Adriana is also a member of the National Blockchain Roadmap (NBR) Steering Committee, having co-chaired their Cyber Security Working Group.
In 2018, Adriana launched The Blockchain Pro Podcast, where she interviews professionals working in the web3 space, discussing their crypto journey and pro tips.
She also organises Blockchain Professionals and is the former organiser of Bitcoin Sydney, two of the oldest crypto meetups in Australia, having hosted nearly 200 events since 2014.
Adriana has a background in web development and digital marketing and holds bachelor degrees in English and Applied Computing.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, she lived in New York for two years in the late 90s, working in the music industry, before moving to Sydney permanently in 2005.

Fabrice Benhamouda is a Research Fellow at the Algorand Foundation where he conducts research in cryptography and blockchains. He serves as the technical focal point for the Foundation and as an advisor to developers from the Algorand community.

Prior to joining Algorand Foundation, Fabrice was a researcher at IBM Research. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the École Normale Supérieure, Paris, France in 2016.
He was awarded the “Prix de thèse Gilles Kahn 2017,” a French excellence award for Ph.D. theses in computer science, and an honorary mention at the ERCIM Cor Baayen Young Research Award 2017. He has received two best paper awards at Eurocrypt 2018 and Eurocrypt 2021.


Ronan joined the Algorand Foundation from LogMeIn, a SaaS technology company focused on the development of industry-leading UCaSS, IDaSS and CE products, where he held the roles of Digital Marketing Manager and Automation Marketing Manager.
Ronan was responsible for LogMeIn's demand generation campaigns globally across search, display, re-marketing, and social. He moved into marketing automation and has experience using both IBM Silverpop and Marketo automation platforms. He was responsible for developing automation strategy and executing email marketing campaigns, delivering marketing qualified leads for sales.
Ronan originally graduated with a B.A. in Business and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin and also holds a Digital Marketing Certificate from Dublin City University.
Ronan enjoys travelling, is a recently more optimistic Aston Villa supporter, loves comics and is privy to building Lego in his spare time.

Deep Passionate about creating and teaching technology. Spent last years as CEO of a peruvian Software Factory, working with 100+ projects across latam, and now turning this experience in the region to grow the latam developers community in Algorand.

Kimberley works in Ecosystem Funding at the Algorand Foundation where she manages funding related activities and business processes, as well as support with driving ecosystem growth.

Cecilia is a governance professional who is responsible for ensuring Algorand Foundation complies with corporate governance principles and regulations. she worked in various virtual and traditional financial institutions and has over 10 years’ experience in company secretary. She also had experience in compliance and AML.
Cecilia is a Chartered Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional of the CGI (UK) and The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries. She holds a Master Degree of Corporate Governance and a Bachelor Degree in Business.

Xiu is responsible for social communication and digital marketing in the APAC region. She had been in blockchain marketing for 5 years and helped lots of projects developing growth strategy and market influence in Asia.

Howard is a Hong Kong qualified lawyer with over 10 years experience in cross-border merger and acquisition, general commercial, investment funds, virtual asset and payment regulations work.

Currently, Howard is the sole Legal Counsel of Algorand Foundation leading and supervising all legal and corporate governance matters of Algorand Foundation. He is also responsible for establishing and implementing process and procedures in scaling up legal function of Algorand Foundation.
Prior to joining Algorand Foundation, Howard has worked for multi-national financial institutions, technology companies and law firms throughout his career including Credit Suisse, Neuberger Berman, OKX and Baker McKenzie. Howard holds a Civil Engineering Bachelor Degree from The University of Warwick (UK) and a Juris Doctor Degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.


Alan is responsible for managing the lifecycle of the grants program and other ecosystem-focused programs like SupaGrants and Dev Awards. He values building productive working relationships with grantees and other stakeholders to ensure a positive user experience. Prior to joining the Algorand Foundation, he worked across diverse industries including banking, FMCG, pharma and IT.
He is married to an Italian lady and has two small boys who like nothing better than waking him up at all hours of the morning. When he’s not busy with them, he enjoys traveling, cooking and scuba-diving. He’s also not averse to doing anything that involves falling or jumping from a height such as paragliding and skydiving.

Fred’s responsible for operations in Brazil, nurturing and growing the local ecosystem of artists, content creators, developers and enthusiasts.

Fred has a background in physics and aerospace engineering and has worked on an experiment that flew aboard the International Space Station and also on some of the world’s largest radars and wind farms! He loves algorand, memes, physics, blockchain, algorand, rockets, telescopes, algorand, data, soccer, memes and algorand.

David spent ten years of his life working as a Mechanical Engineer, another ten working in the events industry in production and operations roles, and is now working in Web3 as Developer Outreach & Programs Lead at the Algorand Foundation.

I am a cryptographer, I obtained my PhD from MIT in 1997 under the supervision of Prof. Silvio Micai, and have been doing cryptographic research ever since, on topics such as homomorphic encryption, code obfuscation, and secure computation.

Shai is a fellow and the vice president of the International Association for Cryptologic Research, authored well over a hundred research articles, and is the recipient of the 2017 ACM-SIGSAC Outstanding Innovation Award and several best-paper awards.
Shai is also the creator of HElib, the world's first open-source software library for homomorphic encryption. At the Algorand Foundation, Shai is part of the cryptography research group and also holds responsibilities for the governance platform.

Matt Keller directs the Impact and Inclusion vertical for the Algorand Foundation. In that capacity, Matt leads the design and development of strategies to increase the use of the Algorand Blockchain to achieve financial inclusion, social impact, and environmental sustainability.

In previous lives, Matt was a lobbyist on Capitol Hill to advance the cause of campaign finance and voting rights reform in the United States; Executive Director of the $15 Million Global Learning XPRIZE sponsored by Elon Musk; Vice President at One Laptop per Child; Legal Counsel for the United Nations World Food Programme in Rome, Italy; Legislative Aide to a United States Senator; Legal Aid attorney for migrant farmworkers in Arizona; and a Jesuit Volunteer in Portland, Maine.

He is the recipient of numerous industry awards for his contributions to the theory and practice of cryptography.

Hugo is a member of the Algorand Foundation research group and responsible for the Algorand Centers of Excellence (ACE) Program and other academic research and education initiatives. As a cryptographer, Hugo contributed to the cryptographic design of numerous Internet standards, including IPsec, IKE, and SSL/TLS. His SIGMA key exchange protocol serves as the cryptographic basis for both IKE and TLS 1.3 handshake. Hugo is a co-inventor of the HMAC message authentication algorithm and the designer of HKDF, the key derivation standard adopted by TLS 1.3, Signal, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and more. He contributed to the theory and applications of pseudorandomness, zero-knowledge, key exchange, password authentication, threshold and proactive cryptosystems, and searchable encryption.
Hugo is a Fellow of the International Association of Cryptologic Research (IACR), the recipient of the 2015 RSA Conference Award for Excellence in the Field of Mathematics, the 2018 Levchin Prize for the development of real-world cryptographic schemes, and multiple IBM awards including two corporate awards. Prior to joining the Algorand Foundation, he was a Distinguished Research Staff Member and an IBM Fellow at IBM Research.


Jason is the COO for Algorand Foundation. He held various positions in NEM Foundation as Vice President and Executive Committee, Board Secretary, Partnerships & Strategic Alliances, and as Expansion Director since 2017. Based in Singapore, he was a Board Director for Blockchain Australia and recognised as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list-maker. He was a FinTech startup co-founder, ecosystem builder and Wealth Management executive with Standard Chartered Bank, having worked with partners across 30+ cities throughout his career.
Jason holds a Master of International Business and a Bachelor of Laws and has completed the Cambridge Judge Business School executive programs on strategy, innovation and creating high-performance teams. As a strong believer in social good, he regularly volunteers with non-profits and leadership empowerment programs. When Jason is not catching up with the latest breakthroughs in tech and life hacks, he enjoys trying out new cuisines and forming meaningful connections with people with unique perspectives and big ideas. He is blessed with a wife and two daughters who are still trying to convince him to get a puppy.

She has over 10 years financial experience in the multinational company, where she oversaw global sales and debt management with over 400 customers, assisted in cash flow forecasting, business KPI monitoring, and financial automation projects. Prior to that, Kristen worked in accounting firms, leading audit engagements and bookkeeping for multinational companies.

Summer has been with the Algorand Foundation since late 2019, and is responsible for the local community building and go-to-market strategy in China and APAC in general. She enjoys the great vibes within the global Algorand ecosystem and has established a thriving community through hundreds of events and campaigns she has held in the past few years.

Johanna is passionate about startup and developer ecosystem building. She has held positions with Dogpatch Labs, Ireland’s leading startup hub as Innovation Partner Manager where she grew Google’s First Fridays For Startups initiative to be the largest startup engagement platform in Ireland. Previous to this as Europe's community development director for SoftLayer, an IBM company, where she focused on developing networks with leading accelerators, meet-ups, investors and entrepreneurs to identify high quality start-ups in all the major hubs in Europe in order to help them scale.
More recently her dev ecosystem building has taken her to Web3.0. As Irish Community Lead at ConsenSys, she founded ‘Blockchain Ireland Week’ in 2019 which has scaled significantly. Currently as Developer Outreach Programs Lead for Algorand Foundation, she’s excited to nurture the next 10,000 developers building on Algorand through global programs.

Massimo is Algorand Foundation's Chief Economist. He joined as Economic Advisor and Head of Economic Research when he was also serving as head of Rates and Credit Modelling, and Coordinator of Financial Model Research, at IMI bank of Intesa San Paolo Group.

Massimo is Algorand Foundation's Chief Economist. He is Professor of Finance and Blockchain at Bocconi University and of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies at Swiss Finance Institute, USI Lugano. He was an Advisor and Trainer at the World Bank for 7 years, at the Monetary Authority of Singapore for 2 years, and at several private and public financial institutions worldwide. Since 2000 he published several quantitative finance papers on top journals and conference proceedings, and is author of the seminal books Understanding and Managing Model Risk, and Counterparty Credit Risk, Collateral and Funding, by Wiley Finance.
Massimo holds an MsC in Economics and a PhD in Maths. His main areas of research have been interest rates, credit modelling and risk management, while since 2014 he has focused on the decentralization of markets through blockchain technology and incentives design. He was a board member of R3, the consortium of largest banks for blockchain application, and one of the first contributors to the CORDA platform. He authored the first articles that in 2015 and 2016 described blockchain decentralized financial products and derivatives with Ethereum test implementation. His work on blockchain has been featured on CoinDesk, Risk Magazine, Bitcoin Magazine, Harvard Business Review and has been quoted by CFTC and US Senate. Since July 4 2019, when he joined Algorand Foundation a few weeks after launch, Massimo devoted his efforts to the Algorand public blockchain, tokenomics, governance and decentralized finance.


Emma is responsible for developing, executing and optimizing our marketing campaigns here at the Algorand Foundation. Emma’s efforts, in collaboration with the rest of our Foundation team, enables the Algorand Foundation to build and develop the global market for the Algorand blockchain and its associated ecosystem.
Outside of work, between seeking out the best cup of coffee a city has to offer, Emma likes to keep active and continue to build her hybrid barre fitness community through events and online classes.

Jack is passionate about driving growth and engagement for important causes, projects and movements that have the potential to genuinely move the dial. He fundamentally believes that humility, authenticity and integrity are the core pillars of building meaningful community engagement.

He studied Philosophy at Trinity College and later undertook postgraduate study in Psychology, he is also an electronic artist ‘zenna’ and on the weekend you’ll find him paddling out at the nearest surf break.

Daniel helps grow the DeFi ecosystem on Algorand, Algorand users can trade for the assets that they want through the various DEXes and participate in borrow & lend platforms to obtain a yield on their assets. We inch closer towards becoming the financial chain


Shamir Ozery joined the Algorand Foundation as Head of Web3 after nearly two and a half years as Algorand Inc's Marketing Programs Director. Passionate about growth, Shamir has spent the last 15 years learning, building, consulting and executing marketing campaigns with and for a wide variety of clients - from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Shamir has served as an Adjunct Professor at University of Michigan and Northeastern University, teaching Entrepreneurial and Digital Marketing. A self proclaimed "NFT Junkie" - Shamir believes Web3 has the power to revolutionize the term ownership and global financial inclusion.


Silvana's professional background is in business administration and high management.
Silvana's passion is to help people and working to make the world a better place for everybody.
Silvana loves challenges so much and has a big family of 3 dogs and 3 kids, making her feel like she is always inside a marathon.


Piergiacomo is a crypto idealist, a true believer of the power of quality education and passionate about building strong communities. Piergiacomo holds a Bs in Economics from UCSC of Milan and a Master in Technology Management from UC Santa Barbara, where he was also the President of the Blockchain Club and won the 2020 edition of the New Venture Competition. Piergiacomo co-founded the Blockchain Acceleration Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to accelerating education, research and adoption of web3.
In his spare time enjoys playing horde on Gears of War, Rebirth Island on Call of Duty or 2vs2 on FIFA; when he wants to take a break from screens, he likes to play Everdell with friends. Piergiacomo is also a huge AC Milan fan and likes to play soccer, basketball and to practice Krav Maga.


Autumn is Head of Community (Americas) for the Algorand Foundation. She loves working at the intersection of technology and social impact, and wants to share the revolution and opportunity happening in blockchain with others.
Autumn brings to the Foundation over a decade of marketing and communications experience for digital companies, and direct experience growing blockchain communities.
Previous to Algorand, Autumn was Head of Marketing & Community for shEOS - the first female-founded block producer on the EOS network. She’s most proud of co-launching the shEOS Foundation, which empowered young women in the Philippines with technology scholarships.
Autumn’s favorite activities are camping and traveling with her husband and young daughters, waterskiing, snow-skiing, playing ball with her rescue pup, blasting music, making soup and hugging trees.


Joe graduated in 2020 with a computer engineering degree and went on to work in the defense industry right out of college. An interest in blockchain technology eventually led him to Algorand which he started to build on in his free time. After being an active member in the community, Joe was hired as part of the Foundation’s developer relations team. Joe is passionate about blockchain technology and believes it can make the world a better place, which is what he strives to accomplish with the Foundation.
In his free time he enjoys riding his motorcycle, spending time out in nature, playing basketball, and learning about psychology and philosophy. Having lived in Massachusetts his whole life and attending college in Boston, he is an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and enjoys watching all Boston sports teams.


Tal is a researcher whose general area focuses on cryptography and, more specifically, on secure multiparty computation, threshold cryptography, and proactive security. Her works have been instrumental in forming these areas.
Tal obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University, Israel in 1994. She joined the cryptography group at IBM Research in 1996 and managed it from 1997 to 2019. She has served as a member of the SIGACT Executive Board and a council member of the Computing Community Consortium. She has initiated and organizes the Women in Theory Workshop, a biennial event for graduate students in Theory of Computer Science.
Tal is a Member of the Academy of Arts and Sciences, a fellow of the ACM and a fellow of the International Association of Cryptologic Research (IACR). She is the 2019 recipient of the RSA Award for Excellence in the Field of Mathematics and winner of the 2014 Anita Borg Women of Vision Award for Innovation. She has been listed by Forbes as one of the World’s Top 50 Women in Tech for 2018.

Ori holds a BSc in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel. Prior to joining the Algorand foundation he worked as a Backend developer in the Recommendations team at Dynamic Yield (which was recently acquired by Mastercard).

Before the Algorand Foundation, Grace worked in the multinational manufacturing industry for 7 years with rich experience in financial reporting and projects in multi-national corporation environments.

Michael is a CPA who began his career as an auditor at KPMG. He has a solid foundation in financial reporting, extensive experience in listed companies, MNCs, internal control and governance, system integration and business transformation.

Ryan has worked on numerous projects at the intersection of technology, policy, and operations. He started his career working on Android at Google and jumped to fintech startups from there, including leading platform partnerships at Ripple in the early days of the blockchain industry. Ryan is a graduate of the University of Oxford Master of Public Policy program and holds a BA in Classical Civilizations from the University of California, Berkeley.
In his spare time Ryan lives vicariously through the emotional turmoil that comes with the daily grind of a season of San Francisco Giants baseball.

Doro Unger-Lee is the Head of University Programs at Algorand Foundation. Doro manages all university engagements at the Foundation.

Together with the Algorand research team she launched the Algorand Centres of Excellence (ACE) programme. The ACE programme strives to make a long-lasting, positive impact in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
Before joining Algorand Foundation Doro Unger-Lee was a senior programme manager at international top universities, including UC Berkeley, MIT and the University of Cambridge.


Michele works in the Economy Team where he is responsible for the mathematical modeling, simulation and understanding of the relevant processes that define the blockchain ecosystem, such as Circulating Supply Dynamics, Price Dynamics and Governance Framework.
After the Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics, Michele has visited as a researcher many Universities and Laboratories throughout Europe, doing research both in Theoretical Physics and Complex Systems, finally getting into Investment Banking as a Quant.
As soon as he leaves the laptop, Michele throws himself into ultra marathons and ultra trails wandering for days and nights into the wild, but surely cannot survive on nothing but the dew of a single Ginko leaf.

Prior to joining the Board of the Algorand Foundation, Staci ran the Global Market Development practice at the Milken Institute, where she led its work on capital market development, crypto/blockchain solutions, and innovative finance to promote the sustainable development goals. Prior to Milken, Staci ran JPMorgan’s EMEA public sector practice out of London. Before JPMorgan, she led the Nasdaq’s two markets for microcap companies, and in the public and non-profit sectors had senior roles at the U.S. Treasury Department, the Center for Global Development, and the Harvard Institute for International Development.
Staci has done business in more than 50 countries and has advised and spoken widely on the potential for cryptocurrencies and blockchain to solve real-world problems, and for financial innovation to improve inclusion and reduce global poverty. In addition to the Algorand Foundation, she sits on the Boards of the Global Blockchain Business Council, the Rwandan Capital Market Authority, and the Energy for Growth Hub. She also serves on the advisory committees of the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), the European Parliament’s Science and Technology Committee (STOA), the U.S. Financial Technology Association, and Evolution Environmental Asset Management.

John is particularly passionate about food, coffee and decentralized self-sovereign privacy preserving technology!


Eric joined the Algorand Foundation in July 2022 after spending over 20 years at JPMorgan, where he served most recently as Managing Director in structured finance and head of Asset Backed Securities for Northern Europe. During his time there, he successfully led the completion of over 100 fundraising, strategic disposal, principal investments, or advisory assignments, with an aggregate value exceeding $500bn.
At the Foundation, Eric reports to CEO, Staci Warden, and leads global initiatives and strategic partnerships in traditional capital markets, as well as decentralized finance. Teams working in capital markets solutions, DeFi, capital markets access and integrations, investor relations and office of the chief economist report to him. He also chairs the Foundation's Investment Committee.
Eric lives in central London where, together with his wife Francesca, they are revitalizing Rochester Square, a formerly derelict plant nursery, as a socially inclusive community arts hub.

Prior to joining Algorand Foundation, Jack worked for Accenture and AGS consulting for 11 years, and joined Blockchain industry in 2018, worked for Huobi Australia as Operations Manager and other two European exchanges as Head of Operations.

Haichao is the Solution Architect at Algorand Foundation in the Asia Pacific. He works on developing real-world business solutions to enable financial inclusion and empower the Algorand ecosystem.
