CODE OF CONDUCT

Algorand Foundation Events & Social Communities

The purpose of this code of conduct is to ensure that Algorand spaces–whether they be in-person events, virtual gatherings, or social community channels–remain fun, engaging, safe and welcoming environments. 

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, and Algorand Foundation staff are required to comply with this code of conduct when participating in any Foundation program or forum.

Any violation of this code of conduct is grounds for immediate removal from the event, revocation, or denial of participation. On social media channels, code of conduct violations may result in users being blocked and/or reported. 

The Foundation maintains all rights to enforce this code of conduct as it sees fit.

Algorand Foundation has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or abusive behavior. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or harassment
  • Pornographic material or explicit content (sexual or violent in nature)
  • Disruptive behavior, especially during talks, presentations, events, or activities
  • Hateful or highly offensive content, including personal insults or content that attacks or dehumanizes a person based on gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, religion, or political affiliation
  • Doxxing another individual, including sharing information that identifies a person, such as their real name, place of work, location, or other personal information 
  • Spam and other misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content
  • Illegal content or activities, including substance abuse
