Singapore, September 23rd, 2022 - With the passage of Measure 1 on the last ballot (Period 4, Measure 1 - Algorand Community Governance), "allocating 7M ALGO from the Q4 2022 governance rewards to DeFi governors", DeFi platforms on Algorand are hereby invited to apply to be included in this program. This will allow their users who participate in governance to become eligible for these extra rewards.
DeFi projects that wish to be included in this program should send email to governance@algorand.foundation, with the following information:
- A general description of the project, and an estimate for the amount of ALGOs that are committed to it;
- The names and contact details of the developers/administrators that will work with the foundation on this program; and
- A (high level) description of the technical means that will be used to assemble the list of DeFi governors on this project, for the purpose of receiving the extra rewards.
Requests by DeFi projects to participate in this program must be received by the Algorand Foundation no later than Thursday, September 29th, 2022.
The Algorand Foundation will work with the applicant projects to clarify all the required details, and will publish a list of all the participating DeFi projects by Monday, October 10th, 2022.
