Developers and startup founders will join Algorand in Hyderabad for Algorand Hack House, a pre-accelerator event for those aspiring to grow their ideas on the Algorand blockchain.

Over the course of three days (March 24-26th, 2023), Algorand will land at T-Hub, the largest innovation campus in India, to connect with those looking to explore Web3 opportunities for the first time or build upon their blockchain programming skills.

With its future-facing vision and drive to scale entrepreneurship, T-Hub continues to attract national and international talent, so was the perfect fit for the Algorand Hack House. The event forms part of the Algorand partnership with T-Hub, which not only supports those building blockchain-based solutions but also looks to drive job creation in Web3.

The three-day event will be packed with developer workshops, pitch competitions, startup funding support, and networking opportunities to instill confidence in the next generation of Algorand builders.

Founders will have the chance to enhance their Web3 startup knowledge and gain valuable insight into key areas, including tokenomics, treasury management, marketing and more. There will be talks from Algorand expert developers and Algorand Ventures leaders, and team matchmaking sessions to encourage collaboration.

Developers will gain hands-on experience working alongside Algorand’s expert developer relations team in a nurturing and innovative environment. Events for developers will include workshops and open office hours.

The Hack House will begin with registration and lunch. There will be a Women’s Lunch (Friday, March 24th at 1pm), welcoming female developers and founders to the Algo Fam. Friday will also feature an on-ramp to Algorand demo, as well as an introduction to Algokit and Beaker. Saturday will see speakers addressing tokenization, treasury management, and how to build a killer Web3 app. Sunday will continue with panels and networking sessions, with pitch competition winners announced at the end of the day.

Attendees are encouraged to sign up for the pitch competition and share their ideas. Presenting at the event will offer exposure to investors and accelerator leaders, and the chance to win a prize. Sign-up is simple: share your idea and team details, a pitch deck, and a 30-second video summarizing your project. First place will receive 10k Algos, second, 5k, and third, 2k. The competition will run over the course of the event with the final taking place on the last day (March 26th).

Everyone will leave having forged new connections with the global community of Algorand builders and deepened their understanding of the Algorand blockchain and ecosystem. Hundreds have already enrolled for Algorand Hack House but there’s still time to get involved. You can sign up for general attendance or as part of the pitch competition.
