October 5th, 2021 - The Algorand Foundation is excited to welcome Staci Warden to the Algorand Foundation Board of Directors.

The appointment of Staci to the board as our fifth board member will provide invaluable additional leadership to support us on our journey to decentralization and the creation of a borderless economy based on an inclusive ecosystem. Staci brings a wealth of global market experience across crypto/blockchain, FinTech and innovative finance, which will support and guide us as we continue to further develop and grow the Algorand ecosystem.

“We are delighted to have Staci join our Board of Directors at the Algorand Foundation. With her extensive institutional network ranging from blockchain, emerging markets and NGOs to growth businesses, we will benefit significantly from her leadership and guidance as we continue to grow our ecosystem and communities especially with global institutions and social impact organizations.” - Sean Lee, CEO, Algorand Foundation.

‘I am thrilled to join the Algorand Foundation to help drive its core mission of global inclusion. There are 1.7 bn people in the world without access to a financial system of any kind, and the Algorand protocol has the speed and decentralized security to address this problem on a global scale. I am excited for the future of Algorand and the huge role it can play to bring the benefits of inclusion of all kinds to people around the world’. - Staci Warden
