March 21st, 2022 - The Algorand Foundation is thrilled to announce the partnership with the Princeton Blockchain Society. “The student organization at Princeton University has only been founded a few months ago and they are already making their mark in the Web3.0 space through their events and research initiatives,” underlines Hugo Krawczyk, Principal Researcher and Head of the Algorand Centres of Excellence (ACE) programme. “Algorand Foundation is committed to support education and particularly student initiatives like the Princeton Blockchain Society to help create a vibrant environment for the next generation of blockchain natives.”
Bofan Ji, president of the Princeton Blockchain Society, underlines the importance of support for blockchain student clubs at all levels. “Our organization is working hard to promote blockchain technology on campus and beyond and provide learning and networking opportunities for students at all levels. Our weekly “Blockchain 101” curriculum covers everything from smart contracts, DeFi, cryptocurrencies, and DAOs. We also conduct in-depth research and development projects in collaboration with industry partners such as Algorand Foundation to produce real-world impact.” Furthermore, the Princeton Blockchain Society is engaging in many outreach events on campus by organizing campus-wide panels, workshops, and career networking events. “With the support from partners like Algorand Foundation, we would be able to offer a plethora of opportunities to the Princeton community.”
