Carnegie Mellon University
ACE-CMU (Carnegie Mellon University) is an international, cross-campus collaboration between CMU, United States, and CMU-Africa in Kigali, Rwanda. Research foci include security, economics and usability, while education focuses on curriculum development for improving blockchain literacy and community outreach.

Monash University
Focused on sustainability in the Pacific Region, ACE-SIP brings together nine teams working towards advancing blockchain know-how across informatics, education, and community.

NTU Singapore
ACE-NTU, the Algorand Centre of Excellence at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, focuses on education and research for advancing blockchain development and adoption in Singapore, ASEAN countries, and beyond.

Purdue University
MEGA-ACE (Multi-disciplinary Educational Global Alliance for Algorand Centre of Excellence) is a comprehensive academic endeavour composed of 17 institutions across 6 continents, forming a powerhouse of multi-disciplinary blockchain research and education.

TU München
ACE-SUPPRA (Security, Usability, Performance, and Privacy Research on Algorand) is an initiative from the Blockchain Research Cluster of Technical University of Munich (TUM) that brings together a network of interdisciplinary research groups to advance technical, economic and social aspects of blockchain technology and their applicability to the Algorand ecosystem.

UC Berkeley
A collaboration between the Berkeley Centre for Responsible Decentralised Intelligence (RDI) and UCL (University College London) create the Berkeley RDI - University College London Algorand Centre of Excellence (BRUCL).

Università Roma Tre
ACE-BRAIN (Blockchain Regulation And INnovation) is a collaboration between Roma Tre University, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, European University Institute, and Fondazione Ugo Bordoni. Its mission includes promoting blockchain technology as a pillar of the future EU Single Market, and as a foundation for a more democratic, resilient, and sustainable society in Europe and beyond.

University of Cape Town
The ACE-FI (Algorand Centre of Excellence for Fintech Innovation) at the University of Cape Town leads rigorous research into digital currencies and blockchain-based finance fostering technological innovation and education in this space.

University of Florida
Based at the University of Florida, and in collaboration with the University of Belgrade, ACE-W3's mission is to advance education and innovation in blockchain and Web3 applications, in particular those facilitated by Algorand's technology and its community.

Yale University
ACE-PAVE (Privacy, Accountability, Verification, and Economics of Blockchain systems), a US-Switzerland collaboration between Yale, Columbia, CCNY and EPFL, brings together researchers and educators in cryptography, economics and law to advance science and community outreach in the blockchain space.

Algorand Foundation is proud to support 10 ACE teams from all around the world. Partnering with top universities and vital non-profits, the ACE programme will help raise and nurture diverse, courageous generations of blockchain natives who can create, build, manage and innovate across all geographies.

The research, education and community-driven ACE programme brings us closer to the vision for an inclusive ecosystem that provides an opportunity for everyone to harness the the potential of an equitable and truly borderless economy.

The ACE programme is a global network of blockchain and cryptocurrency research and education centres that advances collaborative, multidisciplinary, and cutting-edge knowledge and technology.
Research
The ACE programme’s mission is to advance interdisciplinary science and technology in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. Subjects can range from the theoretical understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency, to new applications and use cases, to topics specific to the Algorand protocol and tools.
Standards
The ACE programme encourages applied research and education leading to the development of experimental and novel blockchain applications to advance interoperability and standards in the space, accelerate innovation and create sustainable, positive impact.
Education
Algorand Foundation values inclusive education and diverse community engagement. Curriculum offerings focus on many aspects of the blockchain and cryptocurrency space such as software and application development, protocol design, economics, social impact, regulatory or public sector policy, and more.
Ecosystem and Community
The ACE programme embraces community building. Courses aim to plan to build, nourish and advocate for a community that is engaged with blockchain and cryptocurrency innovation, and invested in driving the technology for the general good.
Social Impact
ACE programs address concrete scientific, economic and societal challenges and find actionable and sustainable solutions in line with the United Nations’ sustainable development goals (SDGs) and Algorand Foundation’s vision for a thriving, global borderless economy.
Diversity and Inclusion
ACE project teams represent the organisation’s community with its diverse backgrounds and experiences. collaboration plan and define commitments to build a diverse team, support an inclusive work environment and help create a workforce of professional blockchain innovators and implementers.
Innovation
ACE course modules use the Algorand platform for training purposes (e.g. homework, student projects, collaborative design and engineering experiences) as well as innovation in the use of Algorand technology and its applications.
